LUX FITNESS CHALLENGE 2018 - EVENTS

Event 1 - EYJAFJALLAJÖKULL

Buy in: 900m Assault Run

50m Tire Flip
50 Jumps over tire and back

Buy out: 900m Assault run

*All team members will be wearing 9/6 kg weight vests.

Only one Athlete can be working at a time. The team can divide the work as they wish.
Timecap: 15 minutes.
Score: Time or reps after 15 minutes.

Event 2 - ESJA

9 minutes to establish:

1 RM Snatch
1 RM Clean + 5 front squats
1 RM Cluster

Each athlete chooses ONE of the above lifts. Highest successful lift each movement counts towards the team score. Each athlete can ONLY perform ONE of the lifts from the start. The barbell will start empty and during the 9 minutes the lifts can be performed in any order and any weight jumps (down and up).

Score: Total of the highest weight successfully lifted for each movement.

Snatch: The weight has to be lifted in one fluid motion from the ground to the overhead position.
Clean + 5 Front Squats: The Clean can be any kind (Squat Clean, Power Clean, Muscle Clean etc). Once the bar is in the front rack the athlete performs 5 Front Squats. If the athlete performs a squat clean it does NOT count toward his 5 front squats.
Cluster: Squat Clean Thruster. No pauses during the lift allowed. No dipping under (jerking) the bar from the front rack to the overhead position.

Event 3 - KATLA

25 Back Squats 60/40 kg
10 Bar Facing Burpees

25 SDHP 60/40 kg
10 Bar Facing Burpees

25 Front Squats 60/40 kg
10 Bar Facing Burpees

25 Overhead Squats 60/40 kg
10 Bar Facing Burpees

25 Thrusters 60/40 kg
10 Bar Facing Burpees

25 Ground to overhead 60/40 kg
10 Bar Facing Burpees

Weights: 60/40  kg

Each athlete has to complete ANY two 25 rep stations. Only one Athlete working at a time. Every athlete completes at least one 25 rep station and 10 Bar Facing Burpees before switching. The barbell will have to be lifted from the floor for all movements.

Timecap: 15 minutes.

Score: Time or reps completed after 15 minutes.
